When you receive your Trezor wallet, verify that the holographic seal on the packaging is intact. Inside the box, you'll find:
Plug your Trezor into your computer using the supplied USB cable. Your device will power on and display instructions. Follow the on-screen prompts to begin the setup process.
To use your Trezor device, you’ll need a software interface like Trezor Suite. This allows you to set up your wallet, install firmware, and manage your crypto securely.
Choose whether you want to create a new wallet or recover an existing one using a recovery seed.
You'll be asked to create a PIN. This PIN will be required every time you access your wallet. Choose a strong and memorable PIN to help protect your assets.
During setup, your device will generate a 12- or 24-word recovery phrase. This phrase is your ultimate backup. Write each word down in the exact order on the provided recovery card.
After backing up your recovery phrase, your device will prompt you to confirm it. Once verified, your Trezor is ready for use. You can now install cryptocurrency apps and start managing your assets safely.
